Banned Books Week
Since books carry knowledge and knowledge holds power, it follows logically that oppressors would ban books to the people of their societies in order to keep them from becoming educated. In celebration of the freedom to read, we have complied a list, in no particular order, of our favorite banned books. Many of these books have been foundational for us, and we highly recommend that you read them.
