Before we dive into the month of November, let’s reflect on September & October. Here’s a breakdown of what I read:
I find it appropriate that I read more suspense/mystery books than any other genre. It is Fall after all, the perfect time of year for spooky reads!
My Favorite Read:
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng with a rating of 8.8/10
My Least Favorite Read:
When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon with a rating of 6.9/10
I predict that as the weather drops, the amount of books that I read will rise. More time to curl up on the couch with loads of blankets, hot beverages & great novels.
After reflecting on my September/October reading, here are my reading goals for the upcoming months:
- Read at least ONE classic novel
- Read LESS young adult
- Read at least ONE historical fiction novel
- Read at least ONE memoir
- Read more poetry
What are some of your reading goals? What are some of your favorite (or not so favorite) books that you’ve read lately? I’d love to know!

I really love this post and the style! It’s so cool and pretty at the same time! Great post 🙂 Looks like you had a good reading month too 🙂
Thank you!! It’s always interesting to reflect on your reading. I actually just used Word & Paint to create the tables, you should try it!
Happy Reading 🙂
