I don’t care if it’s “basic”- Friends is my all time favorite television series. My mom and I were devout watchers as it aired (feels like a lifetime ago), and have never gotten sick of it. I still fan-girl anytime I find one of the six actors in a new movie/tv show. Naturally, I was dancing in my seat when I found this tag.
I can credit this perfectly concise & fun tag to Haley @ Fangirl Fury!
Rachel: A character whose wardrobe you want to steal
I can only think of a few books that the character’s wardrobe was consistently described… perhaps Scarlett’s outfits in Gone with the Wind. I don’t actually want her wardrobe since it would be quite outdated now, but the dresses sound magnificent!
Joey: A book that left you mind-blown
The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson – I learned so much from this book. I never knew much about the World’s Fair, the first of it’s kind as an international exposition with revolutionary architectural and technological feats.
Erik Larson’s novel accurately describes the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair interlaced with a serial killer (also a true story). To read about what people accomplished over 100 years ago is MIND BLOWING.
Chandler: A book that made you laugh out loud
Dare I say My Horizontal Life by Chelsea Handler? Chandler. C.Handler. It’s too much 🙂
Monica: A book that made you hungry
A lot of summer themed books make me hungry, specifically ones about New England summers by the beach. I’ve said it before, I’m obsessed with Elin Hilderbrand’s novels about Nantucket and she always describes food in a very desirable way; specifically, The Blue Bistro.
Ross: A book that gave you all the feels
Hrmmm… I don’t read a lot of sappy books but Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk definitely made me think about how important to be beautiful on the inside.
Phoebe: A quirky & enjoyable read
Forks, Knives and Spoons by Leah DeCesare comes to mind! I just read and reviewed this book; it’s a fun twist on the typical coming of age chick lit.
I tag anyone who wants to participate!
Love this! I’m the same way when I see the actors in other TV shows/movies– Jennifer Aniston and Resse Witherspoon just announced that they’re going to be doing a show together this morning!
Thanks for doing the tag!!
No way!!! That show will be amazing, no doubt.
Thank YOU for creating the tag, I couldn’t resist 🙂
