Did You Know: The most sensitive areas to pain on a shark are its eyes and gills. If attacked, you should make quick jabs to these areas to increase your possibility of escape. Contrary to popular opinion, the shark’s nose is not the area to attack, unless you cannot reach the eyes or gills.

Did You Know: If you a stranded in the desert and thirsty, you can chew on cactus fruit and flowers. Get a piece from the base of the cactus and split it open, then chew on the pith (the insides) but do not swallow it! Any cacti exuding white sap are toxic and can burn your throat. Most other desert plants are inedible and poisonous!
